Named “one of figure skating’s most influential people,” Lea Ann Miller was known for her sophistication and bold style on the ice. Those same traits led her to become one of the most sought-after artistic directors in her field.

A former Olympic and World figure skater, Lea Ann skated professionally with her partner Bill Fauver dazzling audiences worldwide and showcasing her ability to create inspiring, dramatic performances. Upon her retirement from skating in 1992, choreography and Show direction were the natural next steps for her. Since then Lea Ann has created, directed and choreographed more than 200 shows for network television.

Today, as a live event director, Miller uses her experience to create one-of-a-kind events. With unparalleled design, relationship management skills and a reputation for combining quality and artistry, Lea Ann has the ability to orchestrate world class events.

As artistic director for the NBC Series “Disson Skating”, Miller choreographed and directed more than 180 arena shows. Her role included all aspects of the production from lighting and set design, scheduling, collaborating with the sponsors and TV production, to working directly with the musical talent and skaters on music selection and choreography. Her work raised sponsorship exposure, and influenced positive Nielsen ratings.

Miller worked with the CBS research team to develop athlete feature stories, as well as producing backstage and on-air talent at the Albertville and Nagano Olympics with the Emmy-award winning team.

Over 20+ years, Miller has served as athlete consultant, choreographer and performance director for IMG in New York. Her focus has been on discovering and exposing new athletic talent while raising performance quality and production value for multiple shows and tours, including the “Stars on Ice” tour, featuring Scott Hamilton, Kristi Yamaguchi, Katarina Witt, Yuka Sato, and many more.
